Solicitor rails against excessive charges for the bereaved
BEREAVED relatives are being pressured into signing probate contracts with companies that charge more than quadruple the going rate, it has been claimed. Peter Gibson, managing director of Coles Solicitors, warned people left vulnerable by the recent loss of a loved one to be wary about using financial institutions, rather than solicitors, to deal with probate -which is the administration of a person's financial and property affairs after their death. |
